Caesar bridge over the Rhine according to Palladium
It is a contemporary distinguishing mark inside the Museum Palladio of Barban da Porto palace. The Caesar bridge over the Rhine according to Palladium has its roots in the knowledge of the past, because Scolari brings life to a legendary bridge, built more than 2000 years ago, to which a large section of current exhibit “John Soane and the Swiss wooden bridges is dedicated. Architecture and technical culture from Palladium to Grubenmann”.
For the construction of this structure, all beams are made-up by 5x5 sections of pine wood listel. The three major beams are box-shaped and fitted with reinforcing centring. The two fibulas are full. The structures rests on a steel plate placed on the courtyard cobblestones.
Behind the back wall the structure stands on a wooden easel which bears the weight and keeps it detached from the wall.
